Fun Easter themed games to keep the whole family entertained this Easter

Spring has officially sprung and longer brighter days aren’t the only thing we’re looking forward to as we turn the corner into April…Easter holidays! Not only does Easter bring lots of chocolate, but lots of free time to entertain the children too. If you’re looking for ways to keep the whole family entertained this half-term, check out these fun Easter themed games we’ve pulled together that everyone can enjoy!

• Egg and spoon race – who can resist a good old-fashioned egg and spoon race? Get everyone divided up into teams and this game is sure to get everyone cheering along. All that’s required are two spoons and two eggs and this doesn’t need to be a real one – we’re all for avoiding unnecessary food waste! Grab some Easter eggs instead and you’re all set!
• Egg Decorating – perfect in the lead up to Easter Sunday, some calming egg decorating is a lovely exercise to keep the little ones entertained during the week. It’s super easy and you can use whatever paint you have already in the house. Try out this simple step by step guide, here.
• Egg Hunt – and of course we couldn’t leave this one out! Perhaps not the most original concept for an Easter themed game but if it’s not broken don’t fix it! This could be inside or outside in the garden and you can be as creative as you like – an easy crowd pleaser that keeps the kids busy for a couple of hours.
• DIY Chocolate Fondue  – you’ve been left with mountains of chocolate around the house and you’re keen to make sure the children don’t turn into chocolate themselves. Sound familiar? Why not create a fun activity where the children melt down everything they’ve got left over to create your own fondue, dipping all their favourite fruit and maybe even some marshmallows!
